Educational Programs & School Group Tours

School Tours: School tours are always welcomed. Groups must include a minimum of ten (10) people and please arrange for your group event at least two weeks in advance. In order for our youth tour/programs to be an educational and enjoyable experience for all visitors, we ask that when planning your visit, your participant numbers do not exceed approximately forty-five (45) per scheduled tour. If your numbers exceed the limit of (45) an AM / PM or another day will need to be scheduled. 

We will work with you to make your visit educational and eventful. This is an educational experience that requires teacher preparation, student supervision and the involvement of all concerned.

SCHOOL GROUP PROGRAM RATES: There is a five dollar ($5.00) charge for

school students and five dollars ($5.00) per chaperone. Lead teacher is free. We request one form of payment for the group. Fire Safety and education

presentations may be requested for any interested school group. We offer a wide variety of age appropriate Fire Safety programs. Please ask museum coordinator for further information regarding these offerings. You will have a great day learning and experiencing the fire museum.

Parking : Free on-street parking is available. PLEASE note posted signage regarding parking directives and restrictions.

Bus Parking: Free on-site parking is available for school and tour buses. There is no overnight parking permitted. Buses, please use Laurel Street entrance to load and offload.
