Attention Scouts and Civic Organizations

As your organization considers possible sites to visit to foster camaraderie or look to provide variety for a meeting place, please consider the Reading Area Firefighters Museum. 

Civic organizations wishing to use the facilities please submit the request below.

The Museum is housed in the former Liberty Fire Company, and offers a wide range of many one of a kind firefighting memorabilia and community artifact.  As you view our three floors of history, you will gain a greater understanding of the role and importance fire companies have played in our communities.

For Youth Groups wishing to experience a tour and/or fire safety program, there is a fee of  five ($5.00) dollars per child, five dollars ($5.00) per adult and the organization leader is free.
